Dr Slaney has been my psychiatrist for the past 20 years and has helped me with several traumatic life events. He has made me feel at ease and able to talk openly, his knowledge is immense and I always feel confident and happy with his suggestion of treatments. To top off his extreme professionalism, he has a happy nature and a brilliant sense of humour. I would recommend him ten fold, he has helped guide me to a happy and fulfilling life.

I have seen Doctor Slaney a few times over the last 10 years with very different reasons each time, and the reason I have gone back to him is because I know I will be listened to, empathised with, and cooperated with in finding a solution that makes the most sense for the whole picture. Dr Slaney is holistic in his thinking, and is one of the few medical professionals I've encountered who leaves you feeling better just from the conversation. Very confidence-inspiring, very gentle, very kind. Would recommend for anyone.

I was referred to a psychiatrist by a private GP after struggling to get the support I needed from my NHS GP. I chose Dr Slaney as a direct result of the feedback on this website. As this was my first experience of psychiatry I was a little apprehensive, but I needn't have been; Dr Slaney immediately put me at ease. He has a wonderful manner, is engaging, sympathetic and approaches situations with great humour, where appropriate. I felt validated and understood, we approaching decisions on my care together and I trusted his professional judgement implicitly. I have to admit I do miss our bimonthly Skype conversations now I am no longer under his care! It goes without saying, I would highly recommend Dr Slaney to anyone seeking a psychiatrist.

Dr Mark Slaney helped me out of a slump and instead of being anxious about tomorrow, I am now exited about the future. He clearly cares and takes time to understand the route issues of anxiety and other issues.
